Our Story
Coull Aesthetics was created from a deep love of nursing, skin health, and patient care. Orla qualified as a general nurse in 2014, graduating with First Class Honours from Dublin City University. She began her career in neurosurgery before moving to London, where she joined King’s College Hospital and continues to work part-time in Intensive Care.
Currently a Band 7 Senior Sister on the Critical Care Outreach Team, Orla responds daily to medical emergencies across the hospital, supporting patients who are deteriorating and managing cardiac arrests. This high-pressure role shaped her calm, reassuring approach and her ability to make safe, well-considered decisions, skills that are just as vital in aesthetic medicine.
Alongside over a decade in the NHS, Orla completed postgraduate training in Advanced Clinical Assessment and Non-Medical Prescribing. Teaching life support and clinical deterioration recognition further strengthened her commitment to safety, education, and best practice.
Her journey into aesthetics began in 2021 at the London Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, where she discovered a passion for natural-looking results and the confidence boost that subtle treatments can bring. Working in a nurse-led clinic in South East London allowed her to refine her skills under senior guidance while maintaining the highest clinical standards.
In February 2024, Orla reduced her NHS hours to allow further growth in aesthetics and began a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine with Derma Institute, a globally respected training academy. Coull Aesthetics was created as a home-based clinic to offer patients a more relaxed, personal, and unhurried experience, without compromising medical safety.

As a registered nurse and independent prescriber, Orla uses her prescribing skills daily in the NHS and applies the same clinical judgment, safety awareness, and attention to detail within aesthetics. Her extensive knowledge of facial anatomy, combined with evidence-based techniques and CE-marked products, ensures treatments are delivered safely and responsibly.
